About: Scarborough a beautiful rugged, peaceful stretch of coastline, situated at the edge of Cape Point Nature Reserve. As the sun sets on a summers day, the perfect time to walk and be with nature in its purest form. It has been many years since I had returned to the areas I grew up in and body surfed the waves as a younger me!
 
Pure representation of a place although has its merits is not my why I am so emotively pulled to explore coastal scenes but rather it has that burnt deeply into my 'amygdala'. Sounds, voices, smell, seasons and angst all rolled up in the expression of mark-making, colour and energy.
